Things are getting a little eerie with the new track entitled “Sucker For Pain,” which makes perfect sense for the Suicide Squad soundtrack single. “Sucker For Pain” features a Suicide Squad in their own right. The all-star feature list includes Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, and Ty Dolla Sign.
I’m not sure about any suicides, but this fiery foursome murdered this track. Each emcee added the proper dosage to make this track sick. Not to mention, Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors adding the needed element to take this song to it’s darkest place.
The Suicide Squad soundtrack drops August 5th, the same day the film is due in theaters. The Soundtrack features appearances by Skrillex, Rick Ross, Action Bronson, Kevin Gates, Kehlani, G-Eazy, Skylar Grey, and Eminem.
While Wiz Khalifa fans are patiently waiting for the sequel to his 2011 album Rolling Papers, they have been given a new video by the Pittsburgh artist to hold them over for now. Fresh off of the release of his joint project with Juicy J and TM88, Wiz drops a visual to “Celebrate.” The song features Rico Love and is a track from his KHALIFA album.
Wiz takes to positive vibes on the new video as you catch him with his typical swag…blunts, bottles, and babes. Check out the “Celebrate” video below and be on the lookout for Wiz on tour this summer with Snoop Dogg in a city near you.
Earlier this week the Hip Hop community took a huge loss with the passing of legendary Queens emcee Phife Dawg. Phife, a founding member of the super group A Tribe Called Quest, passed away due to complications stemming from his diabetes. The entire Hip Hop community came together to mourn it’s loss once the news got out about Phife’s passing. Several artists decided to embrace the loss and take those feelings out in the studio, paying tribute to the gone-too-soon emcee.
One artist in particular was Pittsburgh’s Wiz Khalifa. Wiz, who can probably partially credit his laid back flow to Phife, has recently released a remix of A Tribe Called Quest’s classic, “Electric Relaxation.” Listen to the Steel City native’s version of the Hip Hop classic cut below. Also take note that Wiz is actually the second Pittsburgh emcee this week to pay tribute to Phife. Former label mate and frequent collaborator Mac Miller dropped a Larry Fisherman tribute the very same day of Phife’s passing. You can also vibe to the Mac Miller tribute further below.
A beef has been cooking for the last couple of days that has culminated with the incarcerated Harlem rapper Max B throwing shade at Kanye. Yesterday, Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa attempted to break the internet when the two went back and forth on Twitter. The riff started when Kanye announced his new album will be renamed Waves (formerly Swish, previously titled So Help Me God). Once the announcement came out, Hip Hop heads, including Wiz, went into a frenzy.
Since the spill over on Twitter, the currently incarcerated Max B, who is serving a 75 year sentence, took it upon himself to reach out to Kanye. He did this the only way he knew how to…on wax.
Be on the lookout for Max B’s “Waves” documentary to drop the same day as Kanye’s album. Peep the trailer below.
With Wiz Khalifa’s self titled album set to drop any day now, he releases the highly anticipated “Bake Sale” cut. Wiz gets the assist from Travi$ Scott on the track, which features production from Juicy J, TM88, Lex Luger, Crazy Mike, and DJ Spinz. With “Bake Sale” Khalifa encourages all to come out and get that oven fresh good good. “I got flowers, wax, inhalers, edibles – all shit you never saw,” states Wiz with open arms.
Check out the latest by Wiz and friends below and be on the lookout for Khalifa. The new album includes appearances by Rico Love; fellow Taylor Gang members Ty Dolla $ign, Chevy Woods, Courtney Noelle and Juicy J. Fans will also hear from Khalifa’s 3-year old son Sebastian on the 13-track project.
With the release of his forthcoming studio album Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album, Wiz Khalifa has been pushing out tracks like there’s no tomorrow. As we all know, tomorrow is never guaranteed, but Wiz releasing some fire most definitely is. As the hype continues to build for Rolling Papers 2, Khalifadecided to drop not one, but two heaters this week.
“Just Because” is produced by Harry Fraud, while “Outsiders” is produced by Big Jerm and Christo. These two tracks are just a taste of what is to come, so enjoy them for now and be on the lookout for that new Wiz album.

Wiz Khalifa decided to come back home for his latest video titled “Still Down”. The track pays homage to the city that he reps, Pittsburgh, and the neighborhood that he grew up in. If there is any question as to if Wiz has stayed trued to his roots, the answer can be found in this visual.
Some folks from the Pittsburgh area feel that Wiz used the city as his launchpad and never looked back, while others see Wiz as an inspiration. No matter your opinion, the fact is that Wiz is becoming a bigger and brighter star by the day.
“Still Down” is a sincere attempt by Wiz to show that he is still grounded and well…still down (pun intended). The track features Ty Dolla $ign and fellow Pittsburgh rapper Chevy Woods. Check out the new video “Still Down” by Wiz Khalifa below and be sure to share your thoughts with us.
