There is no I in team, but there is a me. With that being said, Compton emcee The Game is taking some time out to focus on him because he realizes that without him, there is no team. Sometimes we just have to look out for number one and there is nothing wrong with that. “Ride Solo” gives Game a moment to clear his mind and get some things off of his chest. No shade involved.
The new track can be found on the new deluxe version of The Documentary 2, available now as a three-disc collector’s item with three additional new bonus tracks: the Trey Songz-collabo “Do It To You,” the Skrillex-produced “El Chapo,” and “The Soundtrack” featuring Meek Mill.
Aside from all the back and forth “he said, he said” beef, Drake finds his way to a visual thanks to his Compton comrade The Game. Game’s first single off his forthcoming TheDocumentary 2 album features the OVO chief and is titled “100“. The video is directed by Drake‘s personal tour photographer, Theo Skudra.
The “100” track is a salute to true friendship and it’s visual depicts that as you can catch Game and Drizzy take it to the streets of Compton where they find nothing but love. “100” marks the first time that Game and Drake have collaborated since 2011. This is perfect timing for the release of this video with all the drama that is surrounding Drake. Peep the new video below and be sure to always keep it 100!
The Game is very close to releasing The Documentary 2, his sequel to his standout 2004 LP. To get things rolling the Compton emcee drops the first official single from his project today. The track is titled “100” and features OVO head honcho Drake. Everybody knows that Drizzy goes from 0 to 100 real quick, so it’s no shocker that he once again goes HAM on this track.

Earlier this year, The Game announced that The Documentary 2 will be released June 30, 2015. Recently The Game unveiled a trailer for “The Making of The Documentary 2, Part II.” The trailer takes a look at the culture that appears to be in a current State of Emergency. In a time of social unrest, Reel Culture Media takes a stand in solidarity with the revolutionaries, activists, and protesters of today. The social justice system has failed our generation time and time again, and police brutality has reached a fever pitch. When your neighborhood becomes a warzone, and it is your friends and family being gunned down by the police, who’s side will you take? In this short trailer for “The Making of The Documentary 2, Part II” we explore both sides of the conflict; will you have peace, or will you rise against oppression with force? The choice is yours.
Yesterday The Game was arrested as he turned himself in to the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly throwing a punch at an off-duty officer during at a pickup basketball game in March. The incident was caught on video and posted online. The Game posted $50,000 bail about an hour later.
