Good vibes with some serious flows, all while basking in the California sunshine. That’s what you’ll see in the latest visual from west coast emcee 60 East. Earlier in the year, he teamed up with Sly Boogy and Blu to pay tribute to California over a Leksbeat production. “The Origin” features the Inland Empire wordsmith, “Wake Up Show” veteran, and Los Angeles lyricist trading verses about their love for The Golden State.
Returning from a second tour in Europe, 60 East recently released the video for the critically acclaimed collaboration to celebrate the announcement of his appearance at this year’s A3C Festival. Unfortunately Sly Boogy’s incarceration caused him to miss out on the video shoot, but 60 and Blu still held it down. Check it out for yourself below.
While today is opening day for the release of the highly anticipated Suicide Squad movie, a new squad made their big screen debut today as well. This group is made up of musical heavyweights and a Gotham City culprit. The trio (Rick Ross, Skrillex, and The Joker) came together for the official video to “Purple Lamborghini” by Rick Ross with Skrillex on the beat.
The Joker makes an on screen appearance for the original song from the Suicide Squad soundtrack, even though there is no actual purple Lamborghini in the video, which is the vehicle driven by The Joker in the film.
Check out the new movie tonight, but first, peep the new video by (a much skinnier) Rick Ross, Skrillex, and The Joker below.

While Wiz Khalifa fans are patiently waiting for the sequel to his 2011 album Rolling Papers, they have been given a new video by the Pittsburgh artist to hold them over for now. Fresh off of the release of his joint project with Juicy J and TM88, Wiz drops a visual to “Celebrate.” The song features Rico Love and is a track from his KHALIFA album.
Wiz takes to positive vibes on the new video as you catch him with his typical swag…blunts, bottles, and babes. Check out the “Celebrate” video below and be on the lookout for Wiz on tour this summer with Snoop Dogg in a city near you.
“Johnstown’s Own” Chris DeVille is back on the scene with a powerful visual that captures the epidemic that many of America’s communities are facing. As the war on drugs continues in our neighborhoods, the Pennsylvania emcee sheds light on the issue and once again proves that he is more than music.
“Somewhere there’s a mother that wishes she had done more,” said DeVille. “Somewhere there’s a person who is controlled by a disease and just wants their life back. I want this song to be a comforting touch on the shoulder of a grieving mother, or reflection from a mirror that provides the strength for someone to get their life back.”
The new track by DeVille is titled “Save Me” and features fellow Pennsylvania emcee Wes Penn and R&B songstress Kim King. The gripping visual was shot by Jason Inde and is sure to gain the attention of many. It is still unclear if the new single will appear on Chris DeVille’s upcoming project, but be on the lookout for his EP, Still A Dreamer, scheduled to drop this summer.
While Lil Wayne has been out in the field promoting his new joint project with 2 Chainz, he still finds the time to film a video for the track “Cross Me” off his last mixtape No Ceilings 2. The track features two Hip Hop Heavyweights, Future and Yo Gotti. Future crushes the chorus while Weezy and Gotti exchange bars about disloyal people.
Unfortunately Future is missing from the video, but Yo Gotti, who hasn’t let his foot off the gas since the clocks struck 2016, joins Wayne for the “Cross Me” visual. Check it out below.
Rapper Lua Proc got on base last year with his hit single “Work” featuring Kevin Gates. Now the Pittsburgh emcee is looking to score as he goes back-to-back with his latest single titled “Retarded.” Fresh off the success of his last single, Lua Proc gets an assist from G-Unit’s Young Buck on the track. The official video for “Retarded,” which can be seen below, is a short film that portrays both Lua Proc and Young Buck in street life fashion. The visual displays the gritty side of the game and how snitches most definitely get stitches.
Check out Lua Proc’s new video “Retarded” featuring Young Buck below.
Pittsburgh emcee Chevy Woods is much more than a hypeman gone solo and his work ethic is proof of that. Since the release of his last mixtape, The 48 Hunnid Project, he has been putting in some work dropping weekly freestyles over the industry’s dopest records. To add fuel to his flame, the Taylor Gang artist has recently released a 4-track EP titled And The Story Goes…
The new EP is accompanied by a nice short film that features a music video for each song. And The Story Goes… has a nice vibe to it and also includes a verse from Styles P. The visual shares some images of Chevy’s hometown and a fresh perspective nonetheless. Watch the short film below and let us know what you think.
