[Hot New Music!] DJ M.O.E. – Brolic Files Vol. 1 Mixtape

The Roundtable Empire’s official DJ, DJ M.O.E. (Money Over Everything), drops off his debut mixtape Brolic Files Vol. 1

The new project touts over 25 bangers that include all-new music and exclusives from your favorite Hip Hop artists.

“All you have to do is hit play and the cd takes it from there,” said Ron Fisher, The Roundtable Empire’s Editor-in-Chief/Owner. “This is the type of mixtape that is good from the beginning to the end…it never eases up.”

Contact us today to get your copy of DJ M.O.E.’s Brolic Files Vol. 1.

“My skill level is a little more advanced than the next,” DJ M.O.E. said. “When you pay somebody to do a party for you, you want that person to actually DJ and not just press a button and let a playlist rock while he’s drinking and enjoying the party like he’s one of the guest, I have a problem with that, it’s actually a pet peeve of mine — I think that’s what sets me a part — I’m not your jukebox DJ.”

“I wan’t my mixtapes to be timeless, so I do this like the DJ’s I idolize and look up to. When DJ’s like Kid Capri, Brucey B, and Ron G came into the game, they changed the game, and that’s what I’m trying to do — I’m trying to change the game.”

(Exclusive Interview) Hanz On Drops New Music and Talks About his Relationship With the Wu-Tang Clan [Hip Hop News Now]

Staten Island emcee Hanz On is working hard to rejuvenate Hip Hop and supply listeners with that vintage New York sound, all while focusing on his label Hanz On Music Entertainment (H.O.M.E.) — which will be releasing Method Man’s new album — Meth Lab 2: The Lithium.

The Wu-Tang Clan affiliated rapper recently dropped his final album, BARCA. The new project is filled completely with heat and features collabs with Ghostface, Raekwon, Method Man, and more.

“One of my personal favorites is ‘Hate My Hood.’ I felt like that song had a lot of substance to it,” Hanz On said. “A lot of this song is reality for me.”

Other stand out tracks on the album include “Smoke Like We Do” and “Big Sky.”

Hanz’ relationship with the Wu is evident in his music.

“We grew up together, or they see me grow up,” Hanz said. “When I started doing positive things they came out to support me.”

After several run-ins with the law and multiple brushes with death, Hanz On transitioned from the man he used to be, to the emcee we know today. He credits his transformation to Method Man, Raekwon, and other members of the Wu-Tang Clan.

“You can never take nothing away from the pioneers,” he said, “you always got to show the people who pioneered this shit for you and made the runway for you gratitude and respect.”

Hanz calls his relationship with the Clan a little brother/big brother type of thing.

“The hard part is just you know, as far as the writing aspect of it, trying to keep up,” Hanz said. “It’s hard trying to keep up, but I’m comfortable around dudes.”

The New York native describes his sound as having a New York edge to it.

“I like to say that I have a New York element to me, that’s why I never really tried to explore all the new shit coming out, you know trap music and shit like that,” Hanz said.

“I kind of look at that music as a down south type of sound. I just want to keep that New York edge at all times.”

“Not that I’m talking down on that music, I just can’t get into it. It’s different, but dudes is doing what they do.”

“I can’t get into the throwing my money in the club an shit like that, I can’t get into that whole wave,” he said. “My wave was shoeboxes and safes, and saving your money…that’s where I came up at. So fast-forward now, my shit is about bank accounts and savings and checkings.”

As you can tell by now, Hanz is all about his business. The emcee turned label exec is very optimistic about where Hip Hop is taking him and also the future of his label.

“We got U-God’s son in the studio, we got Meth’s nephews in the studio, so we got a lot coming for the end of this year going into next year,” he said.

He noted that Method Man’s new album, Meth Lab 2: The Lithium, will be dropping on his label, Hanz On Music Entertainment, in August.

“Everybody stay close to me…we got a lot going on.”

IMG_0877

Pennsylvania emcee J-Remedy is back on the scene with his new mixtape entitled All Pain More Glory 2. The new project delivers 16 hot tracks that true Hip Hop fans will surely appreciate.

“There’s a lot of hard gritty songs similar to the first one, but I feel like with this one you can definitely hear my growth,” J-Remedy said.

“It’s real life stuff. Real stories, real life pain,” he said. “I’m still in that mind frame, you know, I feel like my next project is going to be a little different because things in my life are starting to change and it’s not as dark as they were when I was writing those first two mixtapes.

Aside from the tough gritty tracks, there are real bars being layed down by the up and coming Pennsylvania rapper.

“It’s everything that Hip Hop is missing,” J-Remedy said.

“I don’t sound like everybody, I got a different sound,” he said. “I was influenced by dudes like The Lox and that era in the early 2000’s that you can hear in my flow, which you don’t hear anymore in Hip Hop. I have that real raw East Coast sound that has been missing for a long time.”

All Pain More Glory 2 includes dope tracks like the trap influenced “Odd Winters,” which Remedy said is based on a true story. It also features the standout track “Far Left,” which you can find the visual for below.

“2016 was an awesome year for me and I look forward to what the new year brings,” J-Remedy said.

Western Pennsylvania’s Hip Hop scene has been secretly on the rise and leading the way is the city of Pittsburgh. This Black Friday hip hop enthusiasts will have the opportunity to catch a great deal without having to leave the comfort of their homes. Justuce (pronounced “Just-Us”) Street Poets are releasing an all-new album that will be hitting digital sites this Friday. The album is a fresh look into Pittsburgh’s wide-ranging Hip Hop sound.

When first taking a look at the group, it may throw you off just a little. You’ll probably even take a second look. However one might be surprised by the way these emcees gel together and body this album. The crew delivers an extensive sound, which makes perfect sense as they mix the styles of a biker, ladies man, model, comic, and hip-hop fundamentalist.

jps2

The veteran group from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania consists of members Cory Eaux, Ceno, LuckyFace Dollars, Kniseburgh, and their hype man Slim. The crew put together an album that captures the many sounds of Hip Hop, with a soulful ambience that is truly inviting to the ears.

Titling the album Magnanimous, the JSP appear to be in a giving mood. A few of the tracks can actually be found within this article.

The first track on the album was like an intro to a great movie, it screamed success from the very beginning. As the album played on, each member contributed, adding his own swag to each track line by line.

The last track on Magnanimous titled “Paranoid Delusions” was a nice sendoff to what I feel was a great album. As the track played I could see the credits scrolling in mind as if it was the ending to a dope movie.

The Justuce Street Poets are adding the yellow to this Friday and making it “Black & Yellow” Friday. These boys definitely just put on for their city and on November 29th you too can partake in the latest vibes from the Steel City. Magnanimous will be available for your listening pleasures on digital sites like iTunes, Amazon, and more.
